🚴♂️ A Brand-New 3-Day Gravel Cycling Adventure from Zwijndrecht to Paris — Supporting Children through Cycle for Hope
After eight successful editions of REcycle2MIPIM, the REcycle Club proudly introduces a new and exciting challenge: REcycle2PARIS — a fresh cycling adventure that brings together the energy of sport, the strength of professional connection, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
From 14 to 16 June 2025, participants will take on a three-day gravel bike ride, covering approximately 450 kilometers from Zwijndrecht (Oosterweel) to Paris, following scenic paths and portions of the EuroVélo 3 route. This carefully planned journey offers a physical challenge, but also a meaningful experience shared by an engaged network of professionals.
The event coincides with the International Congress on Environmental & Health Risks (PFAS), which will take place in Paris from 17 to 20 June 2025, making this ride not only a personal goal but a professional milestone.
🚴 Who is it for?
REcycle2PARIS brings together professionals from both the environmental sectors, including:
- Waste treatment professionals
- Engineers and environmental consultants
- Public administration experts
- Environmental brokers
- Together, they form a unique peloton where collaboration, networking, and camaraderie unfold naturally — on and off the bike.
💛 Riding for Cycle for Hope
The soul of this challenge lies in its mission. Participants ride to support Cycle for Hope, a Belgian volunteer initiative under the King Baudouin Foundation that helps children with cancer and their families. Funds raised through sponsorships and donations will support:
- Emotional and practical support for families
- Equipment and care not covered by social security
- Developmental programs for young patients
- Long-term assistance and grief support for loved ones
Every kilometer makes a difference. Every rider becomes an ambassador for compassion.
